Chamber opens nominations for Pride in Business awards

The North Texas LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce has opened the call for nominations across eight award categories honoring businesses, individuals and organizations, with the winners to be recognized at the chamber’s 2026 Pride in Business — A Celebration of Business and Community Leadership, set for Sept. 29.

Nominations are being accepted at the chamber’s website through July 31.

The event, taking place at the Astoria Event Venue, “brings together business leaders, major employers and community members from across North Texas to recognize outstanding achievement in support of the region’s LGBTQ+ business community,” according to a press release announcing the event.

The chamber is now accepting award nominations in the following categories:

• Impact Partner of the Year
• Corporate LGBTQ Ally of the Year
• LGBTQ+ Business of the Year
• LGBTBE Certified Business of the Year
• Ally Business of the Year
• Nonprofit Member of the Year
• Supplier Diversity Advocate of the Year and
• Business/Employee Resource Group of the Year.

“Nominations provide an opportunity to recognize the businesses, partners and champions who have made a meaningful impact on North Texas’ LGBTQ+ community over the past year,” the press release noted.
